Lychee is a member of the genus LITCHI and its family is SAPINDACEAE. Lychee has lots of benefits with few harmful effects also. Let's have a look at some of its benefits.
- Lychee has good antioxidant properties and can boost up your immunity.
- It also contains vitamin C, vitamin B-complex which is the requirement of the bone for development.
- Lychee also contains manganese, folate, copper, iron, magnesium, which is required for the production of RBC (RED BLOOD CELLS).
- It is rich in fiber.
- It also stimulates the activity of white blood cells (WBC) and helps in defense of the body against germs and viruses.
- It is also very effective in cough, fever, and pain.
- It also has anti-wrinkles and anti-stress properties.
- It also prevents cancer.
- It improves blood circulation.
- A paste of lychee helps in removing sunburn.
It is good to take fruit juice instead of soft drinks.
Although lychee has lots of benefits, some people should avoid eating lychee.
- If someone is scheduled for his or her surgery than don't take lychee because lychee can interact with the blood sugar level.
- I f a person is autoimmune disorder patients, then they should immediately stop taking lychee in their diet because lychee increases the immunity activity.
- Don't take lychee in an empty stomach because it can lead to encephalopathy (brain condition in which brain functions are altered) and acute low blood glucose level.
